What success looks like in this role:
o Private Label Services Support o Transformation Services calls, installing and servicing PCs, and PC peripherals and/or electronic equipment o Takes service calls and performs incident specific activities as directed by Help Desk, Service Desk or script o May perform routine installs, moves, adds and changes as part of a directed team, including:
o Complex desktop and laptop break fix work o Whole unit replacement o Simple desktop printer fixes o Load software with a script o Performs scripted image loading, unit diagnostics and replaceable unit swapping o Perform troubleshooting by running basic diagnostics and performs basic module replacement on PCs, servers and peripherals o Performs preventative maintenance activities on certain products as directed o Maintains a high degree of professionalism in actions, demeanor and dress. o Insures customer satisfaction throughout o Ensures client specific Service Level Agreements are met and incident and request tickets are updated accordingly within the ticketing system o May provide Smart hands support using augmented reality o May Maintaining stocks/ inventory at client's site (if applicable) You will be successful in this role if you have:
o High school degree required o Minimum 1-2 Years of hands-on experience with laptop and desktop break-fix o Computer-building background experience preferred o A
certification a plus o Specific Manufacturer certification and/or training as required., i.e. EMC, Dell, Cisco, Microsoft, Unisys. COMPTIA, and NETWORKPLUS o General knowledge of desktop hardware and software including basic knowledge of Microsoft applications o Basic mechanical skills and understanding of electro static discharge (ESD) procedures o Training and/or vendor certifications as required including completion of Core Training o Ability to resolve basic / non-complex problems as directed o Client and/or governmental clearance may be required Microsoft Certified Professional Certification is an added advantage. Police or criminal background verification clearance may be required
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Technical Support, Systems Architecture & EngineeringEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
