Regular, Part-time Expected to rotate weekends and holidays Reports to:
Kitchen Manager Basic Job Duties:
Assist with meal prep using proper food handling techniques Serving meals to the elderly and staff Wash dishes, ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen and dining rooms.
Operate dishwasher.
Maintain organization of storage areas.
Monitor food supply usage and communicate to Dietary Manager when supplies are needed.
Requirements:
Minimum of one year experience working in a food service department in a nursing home, assisted living or a hospital environment.
At least one year working with the frail elderly population.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Current ServSafe preferred but not needed CPR certification required, will train on site if needed Please feel free to stop in Community Village and fill out an application.
