This is a part time position and hours will average 24 - 28 per week between Mon & Sat.
Customer service experience is a must; credit union, teller, cash handling, or sales experience a plus.
Incentives are earned based on referrals.
The Member Service Representative (Branch Ops) is primarily responsible for the following:
Deliver service to both members and coworkers that is in alignment with our Service Promise:
Giving it All We've Got, Every Day and Everywhere Credit union product promotion and recommendations Verifying cash in drawer at beginning and end of day Processing deposits, loan payments, VISA payments, and other types of payments Disbursing account withdrawals and cashing checks Process other transactions relative to accounts, credit cards, loans, etc.
Issuing Cashier's checks Cashing U.
S.
Savings Bonds Responding to member inquiries (interest rates, account balances, etc.
) Assisting with balancing branch, vault, ATM, etc.
A successful Member Service Representative will also possess the following skills and abilities:
Able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality High degree of accuracy Personable, conscientious, patient, and confident The ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods of time or move from sitting to standing frequently The ability to enter data using a keyboard, type, perform basic calculations, and count cash with accuracy Possess good alertness, concentration and memory Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem solving ability, judgment, and comprehension.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
