Overview: Sales, service and spare parts for our custom automated machining division; Responsible for organizational ability and systematic timing, requires adequate knowledge of work processes and requirements for both physical labor and shop equipment. This position requires leadership, tact and knowledge in assigning and instructing personnel in the proper performance of mechanical operations safely and without damage to materials or persons. In addition, the Service Manager should have a basic understanding of accounting systems and procedures. This position is one that will be part of the active management group. The Service Manager is responsible for service department profits.
Accountabilities: Profitability of department. Provide input for corporate reports and forecasts for management reporting as necessary. Timely delivery of parts and service. Customer satisfaction within the boundaries of this position. Training of service associates in positive customer interaction. Quality performance.
Authority: Authority to make decisions within the limits of the project and/or the guidelines of the General Manager.
Specific Duties : Manage parts and service contracts, growing the Sales and Service department. Develop a service team and sales strategy. Manage service associates, including all travel arrangements. Work with Purchasing to manage product procurement. Properly manage all Preventative Maintenance schedules on all MEI automated equipment sold.
Education: BS/BA Degree Preferred but not necessary
Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication skills (verbal and written), negotiation skills, self-starter that is results oriented and strong sales skills (with leads or cold calling). Ability to understand and manage customer issues in a professional manner. Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose machine malfunctions/failures quickly and accurately.
Experience: Minimum of three to five years experience in manufacturing and/or parts and service sales in a manufacturing related industry. Experience in the
repair
and troubleshooting of automated manufacturing machinery.
Personal Qualities:Enthusiastic, tactful, courteous, and self-motivated. Ability to accept and effectively act upon direction, works well with others.
Preferences: Sales experience in manufacturing. Strong interpersonal and presentation skills. Knowledge of Reliability and Maintainability AnalysisEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
