Summary:
Provide overall responsibility for daily operation of a full service Cummins Distributor location specializing in sales, marketing, repair and aftermarket parts for Cummins engines and related products and services though local and corporate objectives.
Responsibilities:
Provide oversight of daily operation of all operations of branch.
Review financial statements, sales reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement.
Direct and coordinate branches financial and budget activities to fund operations, maximize investments, and increase efficiency.
Continuous improvement in branch Service Excellence Scorecard results. Grow the branch revenue and profits.
Maximize branch profitability through compliance with sound financial and operational procedures.
Open and close repair orders.
Manage and file warranty claims.
Consult with vendors and suppliers.
Establish and implement departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures.
Communicate and demonstrate support of corporate initiatives.
Achieve branch business plan and corporate objectives.
Facility maintenance and image in compliance with corporate and Cummins factory objectives.
Facilitation of union contract.
Compliance with all regulatory, environmental, and union or other contractual obligations
Manage and direct staff, delegate and assign specific duties.
Determine staffing requirements, and interview, hire and train new employees, or oversee those personnel processes.
Implement safety culture in branch operations to minimize personnel injury and property damage.
Custodianship of all assigned corporate assets.
Ensure customer satisfaction with Cummins Bridgeways products and services.
Maintain high level customer relationships.

Education/
Experience:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing or other business discipline; or equivalent work-related experience.
Five to seven years demonstrated operations management experience.
Minimum one year supervising, coaching and developing staff.
