Job Details:
Bachelors Degree required. The Buyer is responsible for placing orders, expediting backorder and processing paperwork for stock and nonstick hospital supplies. This includes processing requisitions, researching products, clarifying special orders, producing purchase orders, following up on back orders, selecting vendors, maintaining updated product information files, and utilizing a computer terminal to place orders. Actively participates in continuous quality improvement and innovative change processes. Participates in Financial Services meetings and department specific educational opportunities. Significant experience working with vendors and other supply chain customers, contract negotiation experience, fluent communication skills, highly proficient computer skills.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
