Sales Associate - $10-$13/Hourly Base Plus Commissions

We are looking for an innovative, team-oriented individual who enjoys working with others and maintaining relationships with prestigious clientele to work hands on with the private promotions, field activities, marketing, advertising and special events planned and coordinated by the firm for a multitude of clients in the local area (including top name brands in the retail/wholesale and electronics sectors)
Those who showcase exceptional leadership skills in this entry level event planning & coordination role may be considered for marketing and promotional management openings! Full training is provided for the candidate that shows a passion for marketing, knowledge of customer service and goals of management.
Purpose of Position:
Promote our clients brand names, products & services by developing and supporting field marketing programs.
Primary Duties:
Impacts sales results by developing, supporting and executing field marketing segment activities.
Executes marketing campaigns and plans events depending on expertise.
Works with various corporate/field marketing managers to determine appropriate customized programs and strategies for various market segments.
Provides coordination and project management to ensure event success.
Publicizes event and works with Account Development to raise awareness and drive high levels of attendance and participation by targeted audience.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
1 year of experience or training in marketing, event coordination, sales, sales promotion or advertising is preferred, but willing to make exceptions for the right entry level candidate!
Experience in customer service, retail sales or other people-oriented fields desired
Exceptional organizational management and project management skills
Exceptional verbal & written communication skills
Ability to work independently and contribute in a team environment
Aspiration to succeed
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
